VV report for obsid 8509 - Castor A

Review Status: warning
Comments: Warning: Castor A and B are 4 arcsec apart; HEG spectra are blended in cross-dispersion. MEG are separated. Used narrower than standard cross dispersion region. Care must be taken with background regions. Nearby and much brighter YY Gem (~1 arcmin) spectra cross, and may cause spurious lines. Spatial-spectral analysis is needed to assess possible confusion. Light curve analysis of dispersed events must also be careful with background regions.
